Biology, Environmental Science and Geography all lead to the evolution of creating art while attending Mount Holyoke College in New England.  Karine realized that the greatest thing since sliced bread was taking an art class in college, which led to a fine arts studio minor. After graduating, and the harsh reality of student loans knocking on her door, she realized that being a sculptor wouldn't pay the bills. So Plan B needed to take place pronto. Headed back home to sunny Florida, she decided to further her education in arts focusing on graphic design by attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Since starting her professional career in 1999, Karine hasn't looked back...
